About the Artist
When I first heard the quote by Erma Bomback, " When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me," I knew it had to become my life mission!
I have always loved creating art in various forms. Art provides me peace, happiness, stillness, and faith. It has brought happiness in the saddest of days and continues to give me purpose. A middle school art teacher by day and freelance artist by night meant almost 12 hours of drawing/painting/creating, but I loved it!
Each of us are loaned a "talent" and I know this is truly a gift from God. I pray He lets me keep it for a long time, because it has become a strong part of my heartbeat, but I know it is no guarantee...so while I have it, I will use it. I truly want to say "I used everything you gave me" and hope He says back "and very well done!"
My logo and business name began as a description of me. Megan Elizabeth Scronce (MES) was my maiden name and that sweet Corgi is my beloved best friend, Albers. With time all things change, I got married and lost those initials I had known for so long and unfortunately my sweet puppy passed away (at the age of 13) Christmas of 2018 just 24 hours after my sweet daddy. I continue to use the name and logo as a tribute to them and all they encouraged and inspired during their time with me!
I pray that you find love in my art and that it brings happiness, encouragement, and faith.
